When did you join BATS ?

What inspired you to join BATS ?
My wife noticed that BATS were having an info meeting regarding their upcoming muscial production "Little Shop of Horrors" She suggested I should check it out as I've always enjoyed singing at home !.....and the rest is history as they say......
Which has been your favourite production ?
I have two...
1. Sister Act, as I loved the music and we had a fantastic cast. It was the first time I had a major part along with a solo song which was quite nerve wrecking.
2. Out of Order, as it was my first time in a comedy. I loved the role of George Pigden. We had lots of fun during rehearsals, although line learning was tough as there were so many to remember.
What would be your dream role in the theatre ?
Captain von Trapp as I grew up with the Sound of Music (my mum loved it). However, playing a pirate and having a sword fight on stage in "Off to Treasure Island" was a boyhood dream come true!
