When did you join BATS ?
1996
What inspired you to join BATS ?
As a small child, I watched the BATs panto every year with my Mum. I loved the colours of the costumes and the energy of the cast. Although I was a self-conscious, shy child, I suddenly announced “I want to be on stage” and the rest is history. BATs has since become a place that I feel most at home and a sanctuary away from life’s troubles. The group has the most amazing community spirit.
Which has been your favourite production ?
My favourite production that I have performed in, was either Return to the Forbidden Planet or more recently Addams Family and my favourite to direct was probably Little Shop Of Horrors.
What would be your dream role in the theatre ?
There are too many dream roles to choose from, so the shortlist would be Fantine in Les Misérables, Grizabella in CATs or Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd.
