Girl Behind a Sheet
Tina Burns

Chairperson and Wardrobe Mistress.

When did you join BATS ?

2007

What inspired you to join BATS ?

Encouraged by a friend (you know who you are) I accompanied my children to an information evening for the Panto Nelson Blonde...before you could say hey presto I found myself in the unlikely position of wardrobe mistress. Since then the whole family has been involved in various productions and my husband has designed and constructed some sets. We love BATS because it is a family friendly society - it has become a huge part of our lives and we have made some fantastic friends.

Which has been your favourite production ?

Oliver has been my favourite production. I loved it from start to finish & even starred in the ensemble! The songs and performances (especially Nancy's) literally gave me goosebumps!. Sister Act comes a close second - a real challenge for a small society and a production I am personally very proud of!

What would be your dream role in the theatre ?

I'm not naturally a performer and tend to prefer off stage roles - however I'd love the society to do Fiddler on the roof sometime - its one of my favourite musicals.
